Hello Neighbors -- As you finish your spring/start of summer cleaning and elimination of things you no longer need, please keep the upcoming ERHF Yard Sale in mind! Shoppers enjoy getting yard tools, household items, toys, clothing, plants, summertime items and more, and residents enjoy the opportunity to clear out the garage and closets as summer kicks off. It doesn't matter if you have a lot to sell or a little. We have so many sales along our sidewalks that you'll fit right in no matter what, and your items will likely go fast, especially early in the morning.
Hats off to the East Row Historic Foundation for doing all the legwork including coordination, advertising and signage, plus ERHF pays all fees for participating residents of Newport's East Row historic neighborhood.

If you have goodies to sell, just send an email to Paula Bandon at pabrand1@yahoo.com with your name, address, which day or days you are participating (Sat.? Dumpster info
We will once again have the Junk King donation dumpster available for leftover items, or for those who want to downsize but are not participating in the sale. The dumpster will be located at 728 E 9th Street (near Dreamwraps) and will be available all day Saturday and on Sunday until 4 pm.
A few requests:
Please wrap all glassware and put neatly in a sealed box. Wrapping and properly boxing glass and fragile items will help prevent them from breaking during transit.
Please NO furniture (it takes up too much space).
Small appliances only.
Please stack things as neatly as possible and as far back in the dumpster as you can reach. This allows us to fit more items into the dumpster.
This is a donation dumpster, not a trash dumpster. Please donate items that are reusable.
We partner with Junk King Cincinnati for this donation dumpster. Junk King works with, and donates to, many local non-profits. They have won numerous awards for their community involvement. They are also stewards of the environment and do their best to donate, reuse, repurpose, or recycle every item that comes to them, including broken items. Beyond the yard sale, I would encourage you to consider them for your hauling or junk removal needs. (Tell them I referred you and you might receive a discount depending on the project.)
